Adaptive Coherence Analysis — Analytical Method of
Functional Philosophy
Adaptive Coherence Analysis (ACA) is the analytical framework derived from Functional
Philosophy. Its purpose is to examine how systems respond to differentiation, feedback, and
stabilization pressures.
The method does not attempt to determine who is right or wrong. Instead, it analyzes the
structural mechanisms that influence whether a system maintains coherence, fragments into
incompatible trajectories, or enters a corrective crisis.
ACA therefore focuses on system dynamics rather than individual intentions.

  1. Analytical Objective
The objective of ACA is to evaluate the trajectory of a system under feedback conditions.
Three fundamental questions guide the analysis:
    ● Is the system maintaining coherence?
    ● Is the system fragmenting into incompatible trajectories?
    ● Are mechanisms present that allow the system to adapt before crisis occurs?
The analysis therefore focuses on structural conditions rather than isolated events.
  2. Analytical Levels
ACA can be applied across multiple levels of observation.
    Examples include:
    ● individual decision processes
    ● organizations and institutions
    ● national governance systems
    ● technological infrastructures
    ● global civilizational systems
